Jesus -- TRUE Son of God and TRUE God!
by Robert Schmid, July 2006

According to Buddha there are 84,000 paths to enlightenment. Buddhism is one path. Christianity is another path. Islam is yet another path to the top of the mountain (heaven). But, is that really so? Here is what the God of Abram, Isaac and Jacob, the Creator of heaven and earth has to say:

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (then Jesus Christ of Nazareth) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”(Acts 4:12).

Considering the above quote from the Word of God, it should be clear to anybody who claims to believe the Word of God, that salvation, from the penalty of sin, is inevitably tied to the name and person of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, it is not as simple as that, “For there shall arise false christ's, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect(Matt 24:24).

What that means is that there is the “true Christ,” and there are “false christ’s,” and since salvation is available only by and through the one “true Christ,” nothing is more important than to be able to differentiate the “true Christ” from the “false christ’s.”

Our original parents, Adam and Eve, who committed the original sin, by eating of the tree of the knowledge of “good” (true) and “evil” (false), became “like God, knowing good and evil.” Yes, God has the knowledge of good and evil, but God also has the character to never commit evil. Adam and Eve, and every human being born after them, had the knowledge of good and evil, but without having the Holy Spirit of God (tree of life), they committed evil continuously, and that is our lot today.

Lets understand that the tree in the garden was not the tree of “good OR evil,” where the “good” could easily be differentiated from the “false.” No, it was the tree of “good AND evil” which means that most all knowledge became a mixture of truth and falsehood (syncretism) making it difficult to recognize the “true Christ” from the many “false christ’s” that Satan has created over the centuries.

Therefore, just professing Christ is not sufficient, for we could profess a false christ who is unable to save us, and grand us eternal life. For example, if you believe in a christ who is a part of the trinity, you believe in a false christ, for there is no such thing as a trinity. Or, if  the christ you believe in has changed His Fathers commandment from Sabbath the seventh day to Sunday the first day, you believe in a false christ for God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Obviously, every Christian would profess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. However, much depends on your definition of “Son of God?” Is it possible that your definition of “son-ship” is false, causing you to believe in a “false christ?”

If the Christ you believe in  was (only) an ADOPTED son, then you believe in a false christ. An ADOPTED son is a son in name only, not a son by birth. True son-ship is by PROCREATION not by ADOPTION!

If the Christ you believe in was (only) a CREATED son, then you believe in a false christ. A CREATED son is a son in name only, not a son by birth. True son-ship is by PROCREATION not by CREATION!

If the Christ you believe in PRE-EXISTED his own birth, then you believe in a false christ. True son-ship has its beginning at conception. Existence before conception is contrary to the natural order and exists only in mythology.

God made sure that we are without excuse to know and understand what TRUE son-ship is all about. Adam and Eve were instantly CREATED by God. God spoke, and it was. Cain and Abel, down to you and me, came into existence via a process known as PROCREATION. Seed/Sperm is deposited into an ovum and conception takes place that will result in a NEW entity.

True son-ship is NOT by adoption!
True son-ship is NOT by creation!
True son-ship is NOT by incarnation!
True son-ship is NOT from without (through a second God)!

True son-ship is from within the Father, through PROCREATION, when (in the fullness of time, 2000 years ago) seed/sperm (His Word) was deposited by God Almighty in the ovum of His (surrogate) wife, the virgin Mary, and she conceived and gave birth to the only (so) begotten TRUE Son of God, Jesus the Christ (read: Who married Israel?).

Jesus, in addition to His physical nature had a spiritual nature, as all human beings have. For more details on this issue read about The Double Nature of Jesus Christ.

Lets understand, when Jesus was born of Mary, a new being came into existence that did not exist before. There is no Jesus, no Son of God, no God the Father, no Family of God in the Old Testament except in prophetic references. However, lets also understand that the seed/sperm from God, was the “Word” of God, that BECAME the “Son” of God.

John 1:1 makes that absolutely clear. “In the beginning was the Word (of God), and the Word (of God) was with God, and the Word (of God) was God.” Yes, God’s Word was in the beginning. And yes, God’s Word was with God, just like your word is with you. And yes, God’s Word was God, just like your word is you. And the Word (of God) BECAME flesh, BECAME the Son (of God).

Notice: God did NOT become flesh! …“the Word (of God) became flesh and dwelled among us, full of grace and truth; we beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.” In other words, Jesus was and is the TRUE Son of God because He was literally born of the TRUE God 2000 years ago.

Every other Jesus is an imposter, a pseudo christ, just one of many false christ’s that are unable to save anybody. God the Father expressed it clearly when He said: “This (the one begotten of me) is my beloved (firstborn) SON with whom I am well pleased.”

Yes, Jesus was and is God’s TRUE Son, begotten and born 2000 years ago. This leaves us with the question: Was and is Jesus also TRUE God? Immediately, we are confronted with the undeniable fact that if Jesus is not (a) TRUE God, then, He must be (a) FALSE god! There is no other alternative. Of course, no “Christian” would call Jesus a “false god,” but, consider how many refer to Him (only) as “god”, but not as “God.” The distinction that is being made is to show that Jesus is not God Almighty, that the Son is not the Father, that the Father existed before the Son. But, is that not self-evident? Does not the relationship between Father and Son, inherently, define what the difference is between the two?

What is the real difference between “God” and “god?” It is that the former is “TRUE God” and the later is “FALSE god.” Jesus is “TRUE God!”

Jesus Christ was a BORN human being and a BEGOTTEN God being. He lived, He suffered and He died. After His resurrection from the dead, Jesus was “born again,” now a Spirit BORN God being. What else?

You and I, if the Spirit of God dwells in us, are, just like Jesus, BORN human beings and BEGOTTEN God beings. We live, we suffer, we die. After our resurrection from the dead, we will be “born again,” then Spirit BORN God beings. What else?

Jesus is truly and literally the FORERUNNER , teaching us, not only by His (written) WORD (John 3:7), but also through His (living) EXAMPLE, the process of salvation, i.e., how to become BORN AGAIN.

A Christology that does not recognize and acknowledge that Jesus is the TRUE Son of God and True God is neither biblical nor logical. Just because Jesus is (a) True God (being) does not do away with the differences and the inherent relationships that exist between a father and his son. Jesus, while on this earth, honored His Father, not only in the letter, but also in the spirit of the law. Jesus did not come to exalt Himself, He came to exalt His Father, always pointing to the one true God, “Therefore God has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:9-11).
