Introduction
The purpose and objective of this website is to re-capture
the logic of the Word of God, much of which was lost, not
only to humanity as a whole, but to “Christianity”
specifically, including the “Church of God” communities.
Illogical concepts have been accepted because of preconceived
paradigms, wrong interpretations, human traditions, authority
figures, and political and ecclesiastical systems that impose
their will upon the people.
The author, Robert Schmid, an ordained Elder in the Church of God since 1991, does not claim any special expertise
or revelation in logic, but has a firm belief that God and
the Word of God (the Holy Bible) do not convey illogical concepts.
Many writings on this website will make reference to Herbert
W. Armstrong’s teachings, the pre -1995 Worldwide Church
of God, and to the Church of God specifically.
However, the writings on this website are not addressed to
any particular group of people, denomination, or church, but
are addressed to ALL people, regardless of gender, age, race,
or religious orientation. The logic of the Word of God is
liberating, and the message of salvation is needful for ALL,
“for ALL HAVE SINNED, and come short of the glory of
God.”
As a Representative/Ambassador of the Kingdom of God, my responsibility is to inform people about the true God, and to educate them on the pros and cons of the sin problem. The Creator God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, gave mankind 10 fundamental laws to live by. Violation and conviction of any one of these laws will result in the death penalty. The only solution to the sin problem is to repent of any violation and to accept, on your behalf, the sacrificial death of the sinless Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. God’s plea to mankind is:
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life” (Deut. 30:19).
